Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Collections Manager role based in New Delhi.
The Collections
Manager will oversee end-to-end collections activities, including monitoring overdue accounts, setting collection targets, and implementing strategies to minimize delinquencies and credit losses. The role involves leading and mentoring collection teams, allocating portfolios, tracking performance, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Manager will collaborate with credit, operations, and customer service teams to resolve complex cases,
negotiate repayment plans, and improve collection processes. The position also requires preparing regular reports and analytics on portfolio health, recommending process improvements, and maintaining a strong focus on customer experience and ethical collection practices.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in collections management, recovery strategies, and portfolio monitoring within financial services or NBFCs.
- Skills in data analysis, reporting, and use of collection tools or CRM systems to track performance and drive decision-making.
- Proficiency in team leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities for engaging with customers and internal teams.
- Sound understanding of credit risk, regulatory guidelines, and compliance requirements related to collections.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; postgraduate qualification (e.g., MBA) is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced, target-driven environment and adapt to evolving processes and technologies.
- Prior experience in MSME or retail lending collections and familiarity with the New Delhi market is preferred.
