Collection Officer (CO)

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and target-oriented Collection Officer to manage loan collections, follow up with customers, and ensure timely repayment of outstanding dues while maintaining good customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular follow-ups with customers for timely loan repayments.
- Handle overdue and delinquent accounts and ensure timely collection of outstanding amounts.
- Visit customers and their business/residential locations for collection, whenever required.
- Maintain regular communication with customers through calls and field visits.
- Explain repayment schedules, overdue amounts, and payment options to customers.
- Achieve assigned monthly collection and recovery targets.
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities and customer interactions.
- Coordinate with the Branch Manager, Credit Team, and other departments regarding collection-related issues.




- Identify high-risk or difficult accounts and escalate them to the concerned seniors.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and collection guidelines.
- Submit daily/weekly collection reports and update MIS regularly.

Eligibility

- Education: Graduation preferred.
- Experience: Fresher and experienced candidates can apply.
- Candidates with experience in loan collection, field collection, banking, NBFC, or financial services will be preferred.
- Positive communication and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel for field visits.
- Ability to work with collection targets.
