Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to develop, optimize, and support CNC programs for manufacturing precision tools and components. The ideal candidate can interpret engineering drawings, select appropriate machining strategies, and work closely with production and quality teams to ensure parts meet specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and modify CNC programs for milling, turning, and other applicable machining operations.
- Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T; requirements.
- Select tooling, cutting parameters, workholding, and machining sequences.
- Use CAM software to generate and simulate toolpaths.
- Support machine setup, prove-outs, first-piece inspection, and production troubleshooting.
- Optimize programs to improve cycle time, tool life, surface finish, and material utilization.
- Collaborate with design, production, tooling, and quality teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Maintain program documentation, revision control, and setup sheets.
- Follow safety procedures and quality standards; support corrective actions when required.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma, technical certificate, or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.




- 2–5 years of CNC programming experience, preferably in a tool, die, mold, or precision manufacturing environment.
- Experience with CNC milling and/or turning; multi-axis machining experience is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of CAM software such as Mastercam, Siemens NX, Fusion 360, or equivalent.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T.;
- Knowledge of cutting tools, workholding, machining processes, and common materials used in tool manufacturing.
- Familiarity with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, or Heidenhain.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience programming precision tools, fixtures, dies, molds, or complex components.
- Knowledge of CAD software and metrology equipment.
- Experience with simulation, collision checking, and continuous improvement practices.

- Accurate programs that meet drawing and quality requirements.
- Reduced setup and cycle times without compromising quality or safety.
- Minimal program-related downtime, scrap, and rework.
- Clear, controlled, and up-to-date program documentation.
