Role & responsibilities

We are hiring experienced CNC Machine Operators for our client's aerospace machining unit. The role involves setting up and operating HMC / VMC / CNC machines, reading customer drawings, creating and running programs for part prove-out, and maintaining production quality and safety standards.

Role & Responsibilities

- Read and understand customer drawings, standard notes and Standard Operating Procedures
- Carry out production, inspection and machine operation duties
- Set up machinery and ensure all materials are readily available
- Create and run programs to support part prove-out
- Maintain and follow all documents required to keep production flowing without interruption
- Work independently at the machine and monitor production equipment effectively
- Assist shop technicians and the materials clerk as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Maintain a protected and clean workspace and follow established safety rules and regulations





Desired Candidate Profile

- 3 - 15 years of experience in CNC machine operation
- Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Aerospace machining experience preferred
- Proficiency in operating HMC / VMC / CNC machines
- Knowledge of machining processes, tooling and materials
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with safety procedures
