Qualification: Diploma / Certification in Skin Therapy, Aesthetics, Cosmetology, Nursing, or a related field
Role Description
We are looking for a Skin Therapist / Clinical Aesthetic Therapist to join our dermatology and aesthetic clinic. The candidate will work closely with our dermatologists and clinical team, assisting doctors during skin and aesthetic procedures and providing professional pre- and post-procedure patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist dermatologists during various skin and aesthetic procedures.
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms before procedures.
- Assist with procedures such as chemical peels, medi-facials, laser treatments, skin rejuvenation procedures and other dermatologist-led treatments, as trained and permitted.
- Perform therapist-led skin treatments according to clinic protocols and under appropriate supervision.
- Prepare, handle and maintain treatment equipment and consumables.
- Follow strict infection control, sterilization and clinical hygiene protocols.
- Provide proper pre- and post-treatment instructions to patients as directed by the doctor.
- Monitor patients during and after procedures and immediately report any discomfort, reaction or concern to the doctor.
- Maintain treatment rooms, equipment and procedure areas in a clean and organized condition.
- Maintain accurate treatment records and update procedure details as required.
- Explain basic treatment procedures and after-care instructions to patients in a professional and courteous manner.
- Coordinate with the front-office team regarding patient flow and treatment schedules.
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned and maintained according to clinic SOPs.
- Maintain adequate stock of treatment consumables and inform the team when replenishment is required.
- Follow all clinic SOPs, safety standards and dermatologist instructions.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.
