Role Description The Civil Engineer will work on-site in Mumbai in a full-time capacity, supporting the planning, design, and execution of construction projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing civil engineering designs and drawings, coordinating with architects and other engineers, and ensuring compliance with structural and safety standards. The role involves site supervision, monitoring construction progress, overseeing contractors, and resolving technical issues as they arise.

The Civil

Engineer will also assist with stormwater management planning, evaluate materials and methods for quality and cost-effectiveness, and prepare reports and documentation for approvals and inspections.



Collaboration with project managers and stakeholders to meet timelines, budgets, and regulatory requirements is a key aspect of this position.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to apply engineering principles to building and infrastructure projects.
- Experience working in teams of Civil Engineers and coordinating with multidisciplinary project stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project Planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and monitoring progress on construction sites.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management practices and related drainage design for urban developments.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, standards, and local regulations applicable to Mumbai and Maharashtra.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; working knowledge of CAD or similar design software is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work on-site in agile construction environments.
- Prior experience in residential or commercial construction projects in an urban setting is preferred.
