About the Company

We are hiring for a Chief of Staff position with a leading D2C jewellery company with a strong digital and consumer-focused business.

The organization is looking for a seasoned, business-savvy leader who can work closely with the Directors and act as a strategic execution partner across operations, business strategy, brand, new initiatives, people, and financial performance.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who can translate business vision into structured execution, drive cross-functional initiatives, and build organizational momentum.

About the Role

As Chief of Staff, you will act as a force multiplier to the leadership team, ensuring strategic priorities are translated into measurable actions and executed effectively across the organization.

You will own the leadership operating rhythm, drive critical cross-functional initiatives, support business and brand strategy, evaluate new opportunities, and lead a team of high-performing staff across multiple verticals.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Leadership

- Drive execution of cross-functional strategic initiatives on behalf of the Directors.
- Act as a business partner on operational decision-making, performance tracking, and functional excellence.
- Translate leadership vision and business goals into actionable plans.
- Track strategic initiatives, KPIs, milestones, and outcomes across functions.
- Establish and maintain an effective operating rhythm for the leadership team.

Brand & Business Strategy

- Oversee and refine brand positioning in alignment with business growth and customer insights.
- Work closely with marketing, creative, and product teams to ensure brand consistency.




- Lead brand-led initiatives including launches, rebranding, and expansion into new customer segments.
- Connect brand strategy with broader commercial and business objectives.

New Business & Strategic Initiatives

- Identify, evaluate, and lead new business initiatives from concept through execution.
- Evaluate new markets, product categories, customer segments, and operating models.
- Partner with the leadership team on expansion and diversification initiatives.
- Drive strategic projects that have direct business impact.

People Leadership & Hiring

- Build, lead, and mentor a team of staff managers supporting functions such as operations, analytics, and brand.
- Partner with HR and functional leaders on senior-level hiring decisions.
- Establish a high-performance, ownership-driven culture.
- Ensure teams remain aligned with organizational priorities and measurable outcomes.

Financial Stewardship

- Work closely with Finance and business leaders on P&L; oversight, budgeting, and unit economics.
- Identify opportunities to improve cost structures and operational efficiency.
- Lead periodic business reviews covering financial performance, KPIs, and strategic priorities.

Required Qualifications

- 12–20 years of overall experience, with 15–16 years preferred.
- Strong experience in cross-functional leadership, strategic execution, and business operations.
- Proven experience scaling organizations, preferably within D2C, consumer, digital, retail, e-commerce, or high-growth businesses.
- Demonstrated experience with P&L; ownership, budgeting, and unit economics.




- Experience driving strategic initiatives across multiple business functions.
- Experience in senior-level hiring and people leadership.
- Strong experience working with CXOs, founders, directors, and/or boards.
- MBA from IIM, ISB, or an equivalent top-tier institution is mandatory.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, business judgment, and execution capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in a Founder’s Office, Business Operations, Corporate Strategy, or Leadership Office role.
- Experience with D2C business models, digital transformation, e-commerce, or customer lifecycle strategy.
- Experience in consumer-facing businesses such as jewellery, fashion, luxury, retail, or related sectors.
- International exposure or experience managing global projects/teams.
