We are seeking an experienced IT leader to drive the strategy, design, implementation, and management of an enterprise-wide data platform that will support analytics across the business. The ideal candidate will be part of the Analytics Center of Excellence, focused on creating a scalable, flexible, and future-ready data infrastructure that supports intuitive, storytelling-style analytics.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

- Reports to: Corporate CIO

- Team size: 2 direct reports

QUALIFICATIONS

- BS/MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field

EXPERIENCE

- 8+ years in Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Data Warehousing

- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams across IT, Finance, and Engineering

- Hands-on experience with scalable data platforms, ETL pipelines, and distributed data processing systems

- Proficient in cloud technologies, especially AWS and Snowflake

- Strong data visualization experience with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik

- Experience in developing and executing enterprise data strategies

- Strong communication skills for translating technical concepts to business stakeholders

- Expertise in SQL and advanced query optimization

- Comfortable working with structured and unstructured data from diverse sources

- Experience in architecture and code reviews

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design, build, and manage the global enterprise data platform (data lake)





- Lead acquisition of internal (IT & OT) and external data sources

- Ensure compliance with enterprise business rules and regulatory requirements

- Define and enforce cross-functional data quality standards

- Contribute to data integration standards and enterprise data architecture

- Design and model data structures, storage solutions, and integration processes

- Oversee development, ensuring quality, traceability, and adherence to governance standards

- Develop strategies for data acquisition, dissemination, and archiving

- Manage architecture within big data solutions (e.g., Hadoop, Cloudera)

- Drive continuous improvement in analytics stack—performance, TCO, and predictive capabilities

- Deliver thought leadership and help make the organization analytics-driven

- Prepare and manage analytics platform budgets (CAPEX & OPEX)

- Lead MDM (Master Data Management) strategy and implementation

- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of business services

- Collaborate closely with business leads to identify opportunities for automation

- Ensure IT compliance with relevant regulatory and data integrity guidelines (e.g., ALCOA+)

- Monitor and manage SLAs and KPIs, including risk mitigation planning

- Drive enterprise-wide data platform adoption and awareness through training and advocacy
