About the Role

Foodstories is looking for a strategic and hands-on Chief of Human Resources to lead its Pan-India people function.

The role will partner closely with the founders and leadership team to build a scalable HR framework, strengthen talent, develop leaders and create a high-performance culture across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the Pan-India HR strategy aligned with business growth and expansion.
- Drive talent acquisition across culinary, restaurant operations, corporate and leadership roles.
- Build solid talent pipelines and succession plans for critical positions.
- Develop and implement HR policies, processes, systems and governance across locations.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, performance management and career development.
- Build leadership-development programs for Restaurant Managers, GMs, Chefs and functional heads.
- Establish HR dashboards and KPIs covering hiring, attrition, retention, productivity and workforce costs.
- Develop competitive compensation,



incentive and reward structures.
- Ensure effective HR operations and statutory compliance across multiple states.
- Act as a strategic HR advisor to founders and senior leadership.

Ideal Candidate

- 8 years of HR experience, preferably in hospitality, restaurants, F&B;, retail or another multi-location business.
- Proven experience managing HR across multiple locations / Pan-India operations.
- Strong understanding of frontline and hospitality workforce dynamics.
- Experience scaling HR systems during rapid business growth.
- Strong expertise in talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management and leadership development.
- Experience working directly with founders, CXOs or senior leadership.
- Commercially minded, data-driven and comfortable balancing strategy with execution.
