We are looking for an experienced Chief Business Officer (CBO) to lead the growth and strategic direction of an insurance broking and risk-advisory business.

Position: Chief Business Officer (CBO)

Location: MG Road, Bengaluru

Key Responsibilities

- Drive overall P&L;, business strategy, and growth of the insurance broking business.
- Build and scale corporate insurance and risk-advisory portfolios through CXO/CFO relationships and corporate networks.
- Lead key account acquisition, renewals, cross-selling, and revenue growth.
- Develop robust relationships with insurers, underwriters, and industry stakeholders.
- Oversee placement of complex corporate insurance and risk solutions.
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing broking, operations, and client-servicing teams.
- Establish scalable processes, governance, compliance, and service standards.




- Identify opportunities across commercial insurance, employee benefits, and emerging risks.
- Partner with group leadership on strategic growth initiatives.

Candidate Profile

- 10+ years of experience in General Insurance, Insurance Broking, Corporate Insurance, or Risk Advisory.
- Strong corporate client relationships and a proven business-development track record.
- Experience in revenue ownership, P&L; management, and team leadership.
- Strong understanding of the General Insurance ecosystem, corporate risk, and insurer markets.
- Prior Bengaluru experience preferred; Kannada language skills are an advantage.
- Entrepreneurial and commercially driven, with experience building and scaling a business.
