We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Chemistry Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to make Chemistry engaging and easy to understand for students.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons aligned with the curriculum.
- Teach concepts clearly using practical examples, demonstrations, experiments, and appropriate teaching methodologies.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, assignments, and other learning resources.
- Conduct practical/laboratory sessions while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Assess and monitor students' academic progress and provide timely feedback.
- Identify learning gaps and provide additional academic support where required.
- Prepare students for examinations and competitive examinations, where applicable.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and academic progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues and academic leadership to improve teaching and learning outcomes.
- Participate actively in school events, meetings, workshops, and professional development programmes.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and student-friendly classroom environment.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Chemistry or a relevant subject.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred/required as per the role.
- Prior teaching experience in a school/PUC/CBSE/ICSE/State Board environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Chemistry concepts and practical applications.
- Valuable communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to use technology and digital tools effectively in teaching.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a student-centric approach.
