Role Description The Chartered Accountant (Zoho Books) will manage and oversee the company’s financial records and accounting operations using Zoho Books, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining general ledgers, processing invoices and payments, reconciling bank statements, preparing financial statements, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The role will also involve monitoring tax compliance, coordinating with external auditors, and providing financial insights to support management decisions.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dehradun, requiring close collaboration with operations, procurement,



and leadership teams.

Qualifications

- Robust accounting and financial management skills, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Hands-on expertise with Zoho Books or similar cloud-based accounting software, including configuration, data entry, reconciliations, and report generation.
- Knowledge of Indian taxation laws, GST, TDS, and statutory filings, with experience in handling audits and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data, support budgeting and forecasting, and provide clear insights to management.
- Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce; professional qualification such as CA or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site in Dehradun.
- Prior experience in FMCG, agriculture, food products, or startups is an advantage.
