Salary

- CA Fresher: Around ₹8.50 LPA
- Experienced CA: ₹10–12 LPA

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chartered Accountant – Audit & Assurance / Direct Taxation, based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The role involves planning and executing statutory and internal audits, reviewing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

The Chartered

Accountant will handle direct tax computations, tax planning, and filing of returns, as well as support tax assessments and representation before authorities as needed. Day-to-day activities include analyzing financial data, preparing working papers and reports, advising on controls and risk mitigation, coordinating with clients and internal stakeholders, and staying updated on changes in tax laws and audit regulations.

Qualifications

- Qualified qualification as a Chartered Accountant with relevant post-qualification in ICAI & experience in audit, assurance, and direct taxation.




- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, auditing standards, and direct tax regulations, including corporate income tax and related compliances.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, preparation and review of financial statements, and documentation of audit working papers and reports.
- Experience with audit tools and accounting software (e.g., ERP systems, advanced Excel) and comfort working with large data sets.
- Ability to interpret and apply tax laws, manage tax filings, support assessments, and provide practical tax planning advice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, integrity, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Ability to work independently on assignments, manage deadlines, and adapt to a dynamic, client-focused environment in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
- Prior experience in professional services, consulting firms, or corporate finance roles is an advantage.
