Maintenance Manager – ElectricalExperience: 10–15 Years

About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Manager – Electrical to lead electrical maintenance and facility engineering operations across a large-scale warehouse/cold-storage environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in HT & LT electrical systems, DG sets, transformers, preventive maintenance, breakdown management, troubleshooting, RCA, safety compliance, and technical documentation. The role requires a proactive leader who can ensure high equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and maintain safe and compliant electrical operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Maintenance &

- Operations

- Lead day-to-day electrical maintenance activities for HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, APFC panels, MCCs, PCCs, UPS systems, and associated electrical infrastructure.
- Ensure reliable operation and availability of all critical electrical systems.
- Plan and execute Preventive Maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance (PdM), and Corrective Maintenance activities.
- Monitor electrical parameters, equipment health, energy consumption, and operating conditions.
- Ensure timely identification and rectification of electrical abnormalities.

HT/LT Systems
- Manage operation and maintenance of HT substations, HT panels, VCBs, LT panels, ACBs, MCCBs, protection systems, and electrical distribution networks.
- Ensure proper switching, isolation, interlocking, earthing, and electrical safety practices.
- Coordinate with utility providers and electrical contractors for supply-related issues and maintenance activities.

DG & • Transformer Management
- Oversee operation and maintenance of DG sets, AMF/ATS systems, transformers, and associated equipment.
- Monitor DG performance, fuel consumption, battery health, coolant/oil levels, alarms, and operational parameters.
- Monitor transformer temperature, oil levels, protection systems, cooling systems, and other critical parameters.
- Coordinate periodic testing, servicing, and statutory inspections where applicable.





Breakdown & • Troubleshooting
- Lead response to electrical breakdowns and ensure minimum equipment downtime.
- Diagnose complex electrical faults and provide effective technical solutions.
- Develop systematic troubleshooting practices for recurring failures.
- Ensure proper escalation and communication during critical breakdowns.
- Maintain equipment history and breakdown records.

RCA & • Continuous Improvement
- Conduct detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major and recurring electrical failures.
- Use structured methodologies such as 5-Why and Fishbone Analysis where appropriate.
- Develop and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, energy efficiency, and maintenance processes.

Documentation & • Compliance
- Maintain accurate records for:
- Preventive maintenance
- Breakdown maintenance
- HT/LT inspections
- DG and transformer logs
- Electrical readings
- RCA reports
- Equipment history
- AMC/vendor service reports
- Spare parts
- Testing and calibration
- Statutory inspections and compliance
- Ensure maintenance activities are properly documented and audit-ready.
- Maintain SOPs, checklists, maintenance schedules, and technical records.

Safety & • Team Management
- Ensure strict compliance with electrical safety, LOTO, Permit-to-Work, PPE, and safe isolation procedures.
- Conduct safety inspections and identify electrical hazards.
- Lead and develop a team of electrical technicians and engineers.
- Allocate manpower and manage shift coverage effectively.
- Train technicians on safe working practices, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
- Coordinate with Operations, Security, EHS, Projects, and external vendors.

Key Skills & • Competencies
- Strong knowledge of HT & • LT electrical systems.

- Hands-on experience with VCB, ACB,



MCCB, PCC, MCC, APFC, and protection systems.
- Strong knowledge of DG sets and AMF/ATS systems.
- Good understanding of transformers and substation operations.
- Excellent electrical troubleshooting and breakdown-handling skills.
- Strong RCA and CAPA experience.
- Good knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Team leadership and vendor management capability.
- Good understanding of electrical safety and statutory compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume warehouse/cold-storage environment.

Education & • Experience
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance, facilities, manufacturing, logistics, warehouse, cold storage, or industrial environments.
- Proven experience managing HT/LT systems, DG sets, transformers, electrical distribution, troubleshooting, and maintenance teams.
- Experience in large-scale warehouse, logistics, FMCG, e-commerce, manufacturing, or cold-chain facilities will be an advantage.
