Role Description The CCTV Technician role is a full time, on-site position based in Kolkata. The technician will install, configure, and maintain CCTV and IP camera systems, including cabling, mounting, and system integration with existing networks. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing routine inspections,



and ensuring optimal performance and coverage of surveillance systems.

The role involves coordinating with clients and internal teams, explaining system functionality, and documenting installation details and maintenance activities. The technician will also follow safety protocols, support related ELV and security systems as needed, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and client requirements.

Qualifications

- CCTV Installation and configuration skills, including cabling, camera placement, and system integration
- Troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities for hardware, software, and network-related CCTV issues
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills for interacting with clients and team members

- Basic understanding of IP networking concepts relevant to surveillance systems
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals and maintain accurate service documentation
- Prior experience in CCTV, ELV, or security systems installation and maintenance preferred
- Relevant technical diploma, certification, or training in electronics, IT, or networking is an advantage
