Roles and Responsibilities
- Assists physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cath lab setting.
- Prepares patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning them on the table, and ensuring their comfort throughout the procedure.
- Monitors patient vital signs during procedures and reports any changes to medical staff.
- Maintains accurate records of patient data, test results, and treatment plans.
- Sets up equipment such as IVs, monitors, and other necessary supplies for each procedure.
