Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Career Counselor role based in Mumbai.

The Career

Counselor will guide students and working professionals in selecting suitable academic programs and career paths aligned with their aspirations and skills. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, assessing learners’ strengths and interests, and providing personalized advice on courses, certifications, and career trajectories. The role involves maintaining accurate records of counseling interactions,



following up with learners on their progress, and collaborating with academic and admissions teams to ensure a seamless learner experience.

The Career

Counselor will also contribute to awareness initiatives, webinars, and workshops that support career development and promote Educativo’s programs.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in Career Counseling and Student Counseling to support diverse learner profiles.
- Candidates should possess skills in Career Development and Career Management to design effective long-term growth plans.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including active listening, clear articulation, and empathetic interaction.
- Relevant experience in academic advising, coaching, or talent development within education or EdTech environments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Education, Human Resources, Counseling, or a related field.
- Ability to work with data and tools to track learner progress and outcomes, and to prepare concise reports.
- Strong interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and a learner-centered mindset.
- Proficiency with common office software and online communication platforms; familiarity with MBA and professional upskilling programs is an advantage.
