Office timing: 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Saturday

Software: Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks

Location: Banjara Hills, Hyderabad

Hirani Accounting is an outsourced accounting firm in Hyderabad, serving Australian accounting firms and their clients since 2015, with a team of sixteen accountants across three levels. The firm is growing and is expanding into Dubai, which will bring UAE corporate tax and VAT work alongside the Australian practice.

Key responsibilities

1. Bookkeeping and accounting for Australian clients in Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks
2. Payroll processing for clients
3. Monthly, quarterly and yearly finalisation of books
4. Preparing financial statements and workpapers for review and lodgment by the engaging Australian firm
5. Journal entries, reconciliations and balance sheet schedules
6. Direct communication with overseas accountants for work finalisation

Reviewing the work of junior accountants and supporting their training

Candidate profile

Chartered Accountants, or senior accountants with equivalent experience, with at least 3 years in the year-end finalisation of books. Experience with Australian accounting work or any overseas client work is an advantage but not a requirement, since we train on our processes. Positive English for daily communication with overseas accountants, and the discipline to finalise books to a standard where a client who checks every number finds nothing.
