CA Industrial Trainee – Record to Report (R2R) /n SKF Industrial Limited /n Location: Pune /n About the Opportunity /n SKF Industrial Limited is seeking a highly motivated CA Industrial Trainee to join its Finance & Accounting team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical exposure to end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) processes in a listed manufacturing company, providing valuable experience in financial accounting, reporting, compliance, controls, and month-end closing activities. /n The trainee will work closely with experienced finance professionals and gain exposure to corporate accounting practices, financial statements, audit requirements, and business finance processes. /n Key Responsibilities: /n Month-End and Year-End Closing /n /n

- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.

/n

- Prepare and post journal vouchers (JVs) and adjustment entries.

/n

- Assist in timely closure of books and adherence to reporting timelines.

/n

- Review general ledger accounts and analyse variances.

/n /n Accruals, Provisions and Accounting Entries /n /n

- Prepare monthly accruals and provisions.

/n

- Support accounting for prepaid expenses and amortisation.

/n

- Ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting records.

/n

- Assist in expense analysis and account reconciliations.

/n /n General Ledger and Trial Balance Review /n /n

- Monitor and analyse General Ledger transactions.

/n

- Perform Trial Balance review and identify unusual movements.

/n

- Support account balance validations and balance sheet substantiation.

/n /n Financial Reporting /n /n

- Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.

/n

- Participate in financial reporting activities in compliance with Ind AS requirements.

/n

- Support preparation of schedules and disclosures for reporting purposes.

/n /n Bank and Balance Sheet Reconciliations /n /n

- Perform bank reconciliations and follow-up on open items.

/n





- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ageing analyses.

/n

- Assist in clearing reconciling items and ensuring accounting accuracy.

/n /n Audit and Compliance /n /n

- Support statutory audit, internal audit, and other compliance requirements.

/n

- Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.

/n

- Assist in implementation and monitoring of financial controls.

/n /n Process Excellence /n /n

- Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives.

/n

- Support standardisation and strengthening of accounting processes.

/n

- Work with ERP-based accounting systems and reporting tools.
