Job Summary

We are looking for a freshly qualified Chartered Accountant to join our audit team and work on bank audits and related assignments. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in statutory/concurrent/internal bank audits, reviewing financial records, verifying compliance, and preparing audit documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in conducting bank branch audits, statutory audits, concurrent audits and internal audits.
- Review and verify banking transactions, financial statements and supporting documents.
- Perform checking of advances, loans, cash, deposits and other banking transactions.
- Assist in NPA identification, income recognition, provisioning and asset classification.
- Verify KYC, documentation and regulatory compliance.
- Review loan files and assess compliance with applicable banking policies and RBI guidelines.
- Perform vouching, verification and reconciliation of accounts.
- Identify audit observations, discrepancies and control weaknesses.
- Prepare audit working papers, checklists and reports.




- Coordinate with bank officials and obtain necessary documents/information.
- Assist senior auditors in completing assignments within defined timelines.
- Keep updated with RBI regulations, banking norms and applicable accounting/auditing standards.

Desired Skills

- Strong understanding of Auditing, Accounting and Financial Reporting.
- Basic knowledge of banking operations and RBI regulations.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Willingness to travel to bank branches, if required.

Eligibility

- CA Fresher / Recently Qualified CA
- Candidates with CA Articleship experience in Bank Audit will be preferred.
- Candidates should have good knowledge of accounting and auditing concepts.

Compensation

CTC: ₹[X] LPA, depending on candidate profile and interview performance.
