Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CA and CMA Article Trainee role based in Raipur.

The Article

Trainee will support the Indirect Taxation practice by assisting in GST, Customs, FTP, Service Tax, and Central Excise assignments under the guidance of senior team members. Day-to-day responsibilities include working on audits, compliances, return filings, documentation, and preparation of working papers and reports. The role involves conducting basic tax research, helping in drafting client communications and presentations,



and maintaining accurate records and files in line with firm standards.

The Article

Trainee will collaborate with partners and professionals, participate in internal trainings, and contribute to delivering high-quality, timely services to clients.

Qualifications

- Registered CA or CMA Article Trainee with a recognized professional body, currently pursuing CA or CMA as per Institute guidelines.
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and taxation concepts, with interest in Indirect Taxation (GST, Customs, FTP, Service Tax, and Central Excise).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to work with accounting and tax-related software.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear working papers and client-ready documentation.
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills to handle computations, reconciliations, and data analysis.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a structured, professional environment.
- High level of integrity, professional ethics, and willingness to learn through continuous training and exposure to diverse client assignments.
- Prior internship or exposure in audit, taxation, or finance will be an added advantage.
