PTS Consulting LLP is a boutique advisory firm in Chennai. We work with corporate clients on IT Services, Business process management and data-protection and Security (DPDP) readiness. We are growing our delivery team for an enterprise-scale process documentation programme. We are looking for two experienced analysts who enjoy working directly with business teams.

About the Role

You will work with business stakeholders to understand how processes run today. You will turn those conversations into clear, structured process documentation that client leadership can review and sign off. The work is hands-on and client-facing, and you will need to be comfortable leading discussions.

Engagement: 3-month contract, with possible extension based on programme outcomes

Location: Chennai, on-site (work from office)

Key Responsibilities

- Engage with business heads and process owners across functions to understand current-state processes
- Plan and facilitate process discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews
- Produce high-quality business process maps, including SIPOC, swimlane diagrams, decision points and exception flows
- Write the supporting process documentation, covering process steps, roles, inputs and outputs, systems used and escalation paths
- Capture data and information flows within processes, including where data is collected, stored, shared and retained




- Validate documented processes with stakeholders and incorporate their feedback
- Keep documentation accurate, consistent and traceable to the information gathered in workshops
- Work with the wider PTS team to meet deliverable timelines and quality standards

What We Are Looking For

- 4–8 years of experience, with a substantial part of it spent doing business process analysis or mapping as a core responsibility
- A background in consulting, process excellence, operations or transformation, shared services, or business analysis with a process focus
- Proven experience running stakeholder workshops and structured interviews
- Fluency in process notation and tools such as BPMN, SIPOC, swimlanes and flowcharts (Visio, Lucidchart, draw.io or similar)
- Strong written communication. You should be able to produce documentation that reads as cleanly as a well-written BRD.
- Confidence engaging with senior business stakeholders, with a professional and diplomatic style
- Solid attention to detail and a habit of checking facts against source information

Good to Have

- Exposure to multi-function or multi-entity corporate environments
- Familiarity with data-protection concepts (DPDPA / GDPR) or data mapping
- Experience with Lean / Six Sigma or process improvement methods
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel
