Role Description

Business Development Executives/Manager

SECON is looking for experienced Business Development Executives / Managers to join our team at the following locations:

Bangalore | Mumbai | Delhi | Jaipur

Experience: 3 - 7 years

Qualification: Graduate with MBA or Equivalent / B.Tech(Civil) or Equivalent

We are looking for professionals with strong business development, client relationship, and business acquisition experience, preferably in the infrastructure/engineering consultancy sector. The role involves collaborating with technical and project teams to understand service offerings, tailor solutions, and ensure client requirements are met.

The Business Development

Manager will conduct market research, track industry trends,



and support strategic planning to expand SECON’s presence in target sectors. The position also includes regularly reporting on sales pipeline, forecasting revenue, representing the company at industry events, and supporting contract negotiations in alignment with organizational policies.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust business development, sales, and account management skills, including lead generation, client engagement, and pipeline management.
- Candidates should possess market research, competitive analysis, and strategic planning skills to identify opportunities and support growth initiatives.
- Candidates should possess communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to effectively engage stakeholders and represent the company to clients.
- Candidates should possess project coordination and cross-functional collaboration skills to work closely with technical, operations, and management teams.
- Candidates should possess basic understanding of geospatial, engineering consulting, or related domains; prior experience in these sectors is highly beneficial.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Management, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru/Mumbai/ Delhi/ Mumbai, travel as required for client meetings and conferences, and use CRM and productivity tools effectively.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting business development.
