Role & responsibilities Key Responsibilities:

- Liaise with DPSUs, Ordnance Factories, Ammunition Factories and Depots in Maharashtra, and later across South India - Build new contacts in procurement, production, planning and quality departments, and maintain solid working relationships with officials - Represent MEW and present its fabrication and manufacturing capabilities to prospective buyers - Get MEW registered and empanelled as a vendor with target establishments - Identify upcoming requirements, tenders and sub-vendor opportunities, including on GeM and DPSU portals - Generate and qualify leads, and share them with the Delhi office with a clear assessment - Support bid preparation with technical and commercial inputs, and follow up through evaluation, negotiation and award - Answer basic technical questions on drawings, specifications, materials and fabrication processes - Coordinate factory visits and capability demonstrations with the Delhi, Kanpur and Greater Noida teams - Act as MEW's local point of contact during order execution: inspections, deliveries,



documentation and payment follow-up - Represent MEW at regional defence expos and vendor meets - Maintain Excel trackers for contacts, leads, tenders and orders - Update senior management regularly on commercial developments and lead generation

Preferred candidate profile

- Retired Indian Army officer, preferably from the Corps of Engineers - Familiar with defence procurement, tendering and inspection processes - Techno-commercial: understands fabrication and can handle costing, quotations and pricing - Existing network in Maharashtra / South India defence establishments is a strong advantage - Proficient in MS Excel; willing to travel extensively
