Role Description The Business Development Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including prospecting, lead generation, and qualification of potential clients in target industries.

The Business Development

Executive will conduct meetings and presentations, manage client relationships, and support the end-to-end sales cycle from initial contact to deal closure. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining a robust sales pipeline, coordinating with internal teams to align solutions with customer needs, and preparing proposals and commercial offers. The role also includes tracking market trends, providing feedback on product positioning, and contributing to growth strategies that expand Cognitica AI’s presence in industrial safety segments.

Qualifications

- Strong current business development and lead generation skills,



with experience identifying and qualifying prospects.
- Solid understanding of business fundamentals and commercial acumen to support sales negotiations and revenue growth.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex solutions clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Account management capabilities, with experience nurturing long-term client relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in technology, industrial safety, or related sectors.
- Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage time effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
- Comfort with CRM tools, sales reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrated integrity, resilience, and a goal-oriented mindset aligned with a mission-driven organization.
