Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will gather and analyze business requirements, evaluate processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective business solutions. This remote role requires solid analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills to drive business growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Conduct business process analysis and recommend process improvements.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Create business requirement documents (BRDs), functional requirement documents (FRDs), user stories, and process flow diagrams.
- Analyze business data and prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test cases and validating business requirements.
- Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for process optimization.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions.
- Monitor project progress and ensure business objectives are met.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with business standards.




- Stay updated on industry trends, business analysis techniques, and emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio or Lucidchart.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and data analysis concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools.
- Experience with BPMN, UML, and process modeling techniques.
- Knowledge of ERP or CRM systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Salesforce.
- Certification such as ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile certifications is a plus.
- Experience working with cross-functional and globally distributed teams.
