- Job Purpose To provide safe, compassionate, and quality nursing care to patients, assist doctors in clinical procedures and treatment, monitor patients' health conditions, maintain accurate nursing records, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and nursing standards.
- Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patients' nursing needs and monitor their health condition regularly.
- Record and monitor vital signs such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respiratory rate, and SpO₂.
- Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids, and other treatments as prescribed by the doctor.
- Maintain proper medication administration records and follow medication-safety procedures.
- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, dressings, minor procedures, and emergencies.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care as required.
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and immediately report significant findings to the treating doctor/Nursing In-Charge.
- Maintain proper patient care, hygiene, comfort, nutrition, and safety.
- Perform wound dressing and other nursing procedures as per hospital protocols.
- Collect and properly label specimens for laboratory investigations.
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation and patient records.
- Maintain nursing notes, medication charts, intake-output records, and other required documentation.
- Educate patients and attendants regarding medication, diet, hygiene, treatment, and discharge instructions as directed.
- Follow infection-control practices, hand hygiene, biomedical waste management, and standard precautions.
- Ensure proper use, cleaning, and availability of nursing equipment and supplies.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and respect patients' privacy and dignity.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide appropriate nursing support.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, laboratory, pharmacy, housekeeping, and other hospital departments.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and clean patient-care environment.
- Participate in nursing rounds, handovers, training programs, audits, and quality-improvement activities.
- Follow hospital SOPs, nursing protocols, safety guidelines, and applicable rules and regulations.
- Perform duties according to assigned shifts, including night/emergency duties when required.
- Carry out any other nursing-related duties assigned by the Nursing Superintendent / authorized hospital management.
3. Qualification & Eligibility
- B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the applicable State Nursing Council.
- Current registration/license as required by applicable regulations.
- Previous hospital experience will be preferred for experienced positions.
- Freshers may be considered depending on hospital requirements.

5. Professional Responsibilities The Staff Nurse shall maintain professional conduct, patient confidentiality, accurate nursing documentation, medication safety, infection-control practices, and quality patient care. The employee shall comply with hospital policies, SOPs, nursing protocols, applicable laws/regulations, and instructions issued by authorized hospital management.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹55,686.81 per month
