Role Description The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring efficient processing of vehicle finance applications and high-quality customer service. This full-time, on-site role in Chennai includes managing branch staff, setting performance targets, and monitoring sales and collections to meet business goals.

The Branch

Manager will develop and implement local business development strategies, build and maintain relationships with customers, dealers, and partners, and ensure adherence to company policies, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements. The role also involves reviewing credit proposals, managing risk,



preparing regular performance reports, and driving process improvements to enhance branch productivity and customer experience.

Qualifications

- Strong branch operations and team management skills, including staff supervision, performance monitoring, and workflow coordination.
- Proficiency in sales and business development, with experience in loan products or vehicle finance and achieving revenue targets.
- Solid customer relationship and communication skills, with the ability to handle queries, resolve issues, and maintain long-term client partnerships.
- Good understanding of credit assessment, basic financial analysis, and risk management in lending.
- Knowledge of compliance, regulatory norms, and internal controls relevant to financial services or NBFC operations.
- Strong organizational, reporting, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, commerce, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Relevant experience in branch management, retail lending, or vehicle finance, preferably within a bank or NBFC environment.
- Comfort with using basic office software and loan management systems.
- Ability to work in office in Chennai and travel locally as required for business development.
