Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Branch Credit Manager (BCM) to manage the branch credit process, evaluate loan applications, assess customer and business risks, and ensure quality credit decisions while following company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate and process loan applications as per company credit policy.

- Conduct detailed credit assessment and risk analysis of customers.

- Verify customer income, banking transactions, financial statements, KYC and other relevant documents.

- Assess the repayment capacity and creditworthiness of borrowers.

- Review secured loan / MSME loan proposals and collateral-related documents.

- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Risk and other departments for smooth loan processing.

- Ensure proper completion and verification of credit documentation.

- Identify potential credit risks and recommend appropriate mitigations.

- Monitor portfolio quality and maintain control over delinquency and credit losses.

- Ensure compliance with internal policies, processes and regulatory requirements.

- Conduct field visits or customer/business verification whenever required.





- Approve/recommend cases within the delegated authority.

- Maintain accurate credit records and provide timely reports to senior management.

- Guide and support branch teams regarding credit-related matters.

Eligibility

- Graduation is mandatory.

- MBA/PGDM in Finance, Banking or related field will be an added advantage.

- Strong knowledge of credit appraisal, financial analysis and risk assessment.

Experience

- 2–5 years of relevant experience in credit appraisal, preferably in an NBFC, Bank or Financial Services company.

- Experience in secured lending / MSME loans will be preferred.
