Role Description The Boiler Attendant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Jammu.

The Boiler

Attendant is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining boiler systems to ensure a continuous and safe supply of steam for beverage production. Daily tasks include starting and shutting down boilers, checking pressure and temperature readings, inspecting equipment for leaks or abnormalities, and adjusting controls to maintain optimal performance. The role involves routine cleaning, minor maintenance, and coordination with maintenance teams for repairs or preventive servicing.

The Boiler

Attendant must keep accurate logs of operating parameters,



follow safety and compliance procedures, and collaborate with production and quality teams to support smooth plant operations.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in boiler operation, monitoring, and routine maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Sound understanding of safety protocols, statutory regulations, and standard operating procedures related to boiler systems.
- Ability to read and interpret gauges, meters, and control panels, and take timely corrective action based on observations.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for handling valves, pumps, pipelines, and associated utilities equipment.
- Strong attention to detail, record-keeping skills, and ability to maintain operating logs and maintenance reports accurately.
- Willingness to work in shifts, respond to operational issues promptly, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant technical certification or license for boiler operation as per local regulations; vocational or polytechnic qualification in mechanical or industrial trades is preferred.
