Role Description The Biomedical Sales & Application Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Salem. This position involves identifying and engaging prospective customers, presenting product portfolios, and demonstrating biomedical equipment features and applications to clinical and technical stakeholders. The role includes providing pre-sales and post-sales technical support, assisting in installations, configuring and testing devices, and training end users on product operation and maintenance.

The engineer will collaborate with internal teams and manufacturers to resolve technical issues, prepare proposals and quotations, and maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and service reports.



The role also requires staying updated on product enhancements, industry standards, and competitor offerings to support effective sales strategies.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering and Sales skills to manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing and account management.

- Candidates should possess solid Technical Support and Biomedical application skills to assist with installation, troubleshooting, user training, and after-sales service.

- Candidates should possess foundational Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering skills to understand device functionality, specifications, and integration in clinical settings.

- Candidates should possess effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage healthcare professionals and convey technical information clearly.

- Candidates should possess good problem-solving, time management, and organizational abilities to handle multiple customer accounts and service requests.

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.

- Experience in medical equipment sales, hospital equipment installation, or healthcare technology support will be an advantage.
