A BIM (Building Information Modeling) Architect combines traditional architectural design skills with advanced digital modeling expertise to create, manage, and coordinate intelligent 3D building data throughout a project's lifecycle.

Role and Responsibilities

- Model Development: Create and manage detailed architectural 3D models and construction documents using advanced software.
- Multidisciplinary Coordination: Integrate architectural models with structural and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems to maintain design integrity.
- Clash Detection: Run routine audits and clash-detection checks to identify and resolve geometric or technical conflicts before construction.
- Standard Compliance: Ensure all models and deliverables follow office standards, Level of Detail (LOD) requirements, and protocols like ISO 19650.
- BIM Implementation:



Help execute BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and assist in upgrading office templates, libraries, and workflows.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch).
- Experience: Generally 2 to 5+ years of dedicated experience in architectural design and BIM coordination.
- Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and visualization tools.
- Technical Knowledge: Robust grasp of building codes, construction methodologies, and parametric design principles.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and cross-team communication abilities
