Role Description This is a full time, on-site Barista role based at Manuevre & Co. in Delhi, India. The Barista will prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages to café standards, including espresso-based drinks and other specialty items. Daily responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, answering questions about the menu, and providing attentive customer service at the counter and tables.

The Barista will assist with food preparation for items such as sandwiches and light bites, maintain cleanliness of workstations and seating areas, and follow hygiene and safety procedures.



The role also involves handling cash and digital payments, restocking supplies, and collaborating with the team to ensure smooth café operations during peak hours.

Qualifications

- Barista skills with experience in coffee preparation, espresso extraction, drink presentation, and basic equipment maintenance.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to engage guests, manage queues, and handle feedback professionally.
- Effective communication skills for clear order taking, coordination with kitchen staff, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
- Food preparation skills for assembling café menu items, following recipes, and maintaining food safety standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible shifts (including weekends and holidays), and handle busy service times calmly.
- Basic numeracy and point-of-sale (POS) experience for accurate billing and cash handling.
- Prior experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Commitment to cleanliness, hygiene, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
