Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer with robust knowledge of Node.js, Express.js, relational databases, Redis, APIs, and cloud services.

You will be responsible for developing backend features, improving system performance, maintaining production services, supporting real-time functionality, and working closely with the mobile development team.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with an existing production codebase, troubleshooting complex issues, and building scalable and maintainable backend solutions.

Experience with Flutter or mobile application development is a strong advantage, but not required.

Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express.js. • Design and build secure, scalable, and maintainable REST APIs.

• Develop and maintain real-time functionality using Socket.IO / WebSockets. • Work with relational databases and ORM technologies such as Sequelize.

- Optimize database queries, indexes, relationships, and overall performance.
- Work with Redis for caching, real-time communication, and distributed processing.
- Build and maintain background jobs and queue-based processing.
- Integrate and maintain third-party services and external APIs.
- Work with AWS services including cloud storage, monitoring, and infrastructure-related integrations.
- Maintain Firebase-related backend services and push notification integrations.
- Implement authentication, authorization, validation, and security best practices.
- Develop and maintain media upload and processing workflows.
- Monitor application performance and investigate production issues.




- Identify and resolve backend bottlenecks, scalability issues, and reliability problems.
- Improve API performance, response times, and system stability.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Maintain API documentation using tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Review code and contribute to technical architecture decisions.
- Support production deployments and troubleshoot issues when required.

- Expertise in coding a large chat based system which handles 10,000's of active users

Compensation & Schedule • Competitive salary based on experience and skill level (Range – 50,000 RS To 100,000 RS). (Versatile & Negotiable depending on Experience)
