About the Company

Nexal IIT is offering a structured remote internship for freshers who want to begin a career in backend development. The internship provides practical exposure to developing server-side applications, building APIs, working with databases, implementing backend functionality, and supporting scalable web applications.

Responsibilities

- Assist in developing and maintaining backend applications and server-side functionality.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs for web and application-based solutions.
- Work with databases to store, retrieve, update, and manage application data.
- Implement backend logic and integrate it with frontend components.
- Assist in debugging, testing, and improving application performance.
- Follow basic security and data-handling practices while developing applications.
- Document code, technical approaches, APIs, and development progress clearly.




- Work collaboratively with remote team members and complete assigned deliverables on time.

Requirements
- Suitable for freshers with an interest in backend development, software engineering, web development, or a related area.
- Strong logical reasoning, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
- Basic understanding of programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Node.js, Express.js, Django, Flask, Spring Boot, or similar frameworks is beneficial.
- Basic understanding of databases, including SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, Git, HTTP, and basic software development concepts is beneficial.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing deadlines responsibly.

This is a paid, remote internship with a duration of 3 months and a performance-based stipend of up to ₹10,000.
