About the Company

Nexal IIT is offering a structured remote internship for freshers who want to begin a career in backend development. The internship provides practical exposure to building server-side applications, developing APIs, working with databases, implementing backend functionality, and supporting scalable web applications.

Responsibilities

- Assist in developing and maintaining backend applications and server-side functionality.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs for web and application-based projects.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient backend code using relevant programming languages and frameworks.
- Work with databases to store, retrieve, update, and manage application data.
- Implement business logic, authentication, validation, and application functionality.
- Integrate backend services with frontend applications and third-party APIs.
- Test, debug, and troubleshoot backend applications and APIs.
- Assist in identifying and resolving performance, reliability, and security-related issues.
- Work with SQL or NoSQL databases based on project requirements.
- Use Git and version-control practices to manage source code and development workflows.
- Document APIs, code, technical approaches,



and development progress clearly.
- Collaborate with remote team members and complete assigned development tasks and deliverables on time.

Requirements
- Suitable for freshers with an interest in backend development, software development, web development, or a related area.
- Basic understanding of programming concepts and object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity with at least one backend programming language such as Node.js, Python, Java, PHP, or similar technologies.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, and client-server architecture.
- Basic knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases and database concepts.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as Express.js, Django, Flask, Spring Boot, or similar technologies is beneficial.
- Basic knowledge of Git and version control is beneficial.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, and basic application security is beneficial.
- Strong logical reasoning, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing deadlines responsibly.

This is a paid, remote internship with a duration of 3 months and a performance-based stipend of up to ₹10,000.
