TCS Hiring for Azure Server Engineer L3 Windows - Rehost

Experience Range: - 06 To 10 Years (Mandatory)

(Note: Candidates below 6 years of IT experience shall not be considered)

JOB LOCATION: Bengaluru, Chennai & Pune

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end server migration projects (Rehost/Lift-and-Shift) to Azure
- Perform discovery, assessment, and migration planning using Azure Migrate
- Execute agent-based and agentless migrations for Windows workloads
- Manage Azure Site Recovery (ASR) replication, failover, and cutover activities
- Optimize VM sizing, storage, and networking in Azure
- Troubleshoot migration issues and ensure minimal downtime
- Implement best practices for security, high availability, and performance
- Document migration processes, runbooks, and SOPs
- Collaborate with application and infra teams

Required Skills:

- Solid experience in Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022)
- Hands-on experience with Azure Migrate & Azure Site Recovery (ASR)
- Good knowledge of Azure IaaS (VM, VNet, NSG, Storage)
- Familiarity with agent-based and agentless migration techniques
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy
- Understanding of networking concepts (VPN, ExpressRoute preferred)
- Scripting skills (PowerShell preferred)

Preferred Skills:

- Azure certifications (AZ-104 / AZ-305)
- Experience in migration factory / large-scale migrations




- Knowledge of backup/DR strategies
