We're looking for an Amazon Connect Developer to build and support cloud contact center solutions in financial services. You'll deliver customer journeys across voice and digital channels, including secure caller authentication, self-service, intelligent routing and agent tooling. Security, compliance and reliability matter as much as speed here.

What you'll do

- Build, test and maintain Amazon Connect flows for voice, chat and tasks, including IVR, routing, queues, callbacks and reusable flow modules.
- Develop self-service experiences with Amazon Lex and AWS Lambda, integrated with core banking, CRM, payments and fraud systems via APIs.
- Implement secure identification and verification (ID&V;) journeys and PCI-compliant payment capture, including encrypted customer input and redaction of sensitive data in recordings and transcripts.
- Customize the agent experience using the Amazon Connect Streams API, agent workspace and CRM integrations such as Salesforce Service Cloud Voice or ServiceNow.
- Configure Contact Lens analytics and build reporting from contact records and agent event streams (Kinesis, S3, Athena or similar).
- Manage configuration as infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, CDK or Terraform), with CI/CD pipelines that promote flows and settings across environments.
- Monitor production with CloudWatch, troubleshoot routing and call-quality issues, and take part in incident response.
- Work closely with operations, compliance and InfoSec teams to turn requirements into secure, auditable solutions.

What you'll bring

- 3+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years building Amazon Connect solutions in production.
- Robust JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js) or Python skills for Lambda and integration work.
- Working knowledge of core AWS services: Lambda, Lex, DynamoDB, API Gateway, S3, Kinesis, CloudWatch, IAM and KMS.
- Experience delivering contact center or customer servicing solutions in financial services, such as banking, insurance, lending, payments or wealth management.




- Understanding of security and compliance requirements in regulated contact centers, including PCI DSS, data privacy and call recording obligations.
- Comfort with REST APIs, Git-based workflows and automated testing.
- Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred

- AWS certification (Developer – Associate or Solutions Architect – Associate).
- Experience migrating to Amazon Connect from platforms such as Avaya, Cisco, Genesys or NICE.
- Exposure to outbound campaigns, Customer Profiles, Cases or Amazon Q in Connect.
- Telephony fundamentals: SIP, DTMF, number porting and call-quality troubleshooting.
- Experience with workforce management or quality management
