Role & responsibilities The NOC Engineer is responsible for 24x7 monitoring, incident response, and operational support for AWS, Kubernetes, and enterprise SaaS platforms while also serving as the first point of contact for employee-facing IT support requests. The role combines traditional NOC operations with IT Service Desk responsibilities, ensuring both platform reliability and a high-quality employee support experience.

What Youll Do

CloudOps & NOC Operations

- Monitor AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, applications, integrations, and observability platforms using OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch, and related tools.
- Perform alert triage, initial troubleshooting, and incident response using established runbooks and escalation procedures.
- Execute approved remediation activities including service restarts, workflow retries, pod restarts, health checks, and basic infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Escalate incidents to CloudOps, Engineering, Security, Data teams as required.
- Maintain incident records, shift handoff reports, runbooks,



and knowledge base documentation.
- Participate in post-incident reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce alert noise and recurring incidents.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in NOC, Cloud Operations, IT Operations, Production Support, or Helpdesk roles.
- Solid understanding of Linux, Windows, networking fundamentals, and cloud infrastructure concepts.
- Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, monitoring platforms, and incident management processes.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch
- Experience supporting employee-facing IT systems including Microsoft 365, endpoint devices, identity management, and access provisioning.
- Strong customer service, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a 24x7 shift-based environment.
