About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Australian Accountant to join our team in Anand. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in Australian accounting and taxation and should be comfortable working with Australian accounting processes and clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day Australian bookkeeping and accounting
- Prepare and review BAS, GST and IAS
- Process payroll and STP
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with month-end accounting and reporting
- Prepare financial statements
- Prepare tax returns and tax workpapers for:

1. Companies
2. Trusts
3. Individuals

- Work with Australian accounting and taxation requirements
- Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with Australian team members




- Work independently after understanding the firm's processes and procedures

Required Skills & Experience

- 1 to 2+ years of experience in Australian accounting/taxation is acceptable
- CA & Inter-CA Qualification can also apply
- Practical exposure to Australian accounting and tax
- Good understanding of BAS, GST, IAS and payroll/STP
- Experience with Xero and MYOB
- Positive knowledge of bookkeeping and reconciliations
- Understanding of financial statements and tax returns
- Strong English communication skills
- Good attention to detail and ability to work independently
