Role summary
You will own the development and enhancement of specific product modules on Provakils enterprise SaaS platform turning customer pain points, business requirements, and market opportunities into features that enterprise clients actually use. This is not a strategy-only role: youll spend as much time talking to clients and writing PRDs as you will working with engineers to ship features.
The role sits at the intersection of customer understanding and product execution. Youll engage directly with enterprise clients to uncover what they need, write structured product requirements for engineering, prototype solutions using low-code/no-code tools when speed matters, and work with Customer Success and Implementation teams to ensure features are adopted and delivering value. Youll also support the sales team with product insights and go-to-market positioning for new capabilities.
What youll do
Customer insights & discovery
- Engage directly with enterprise clients to understand their challenges, workflows, and unmet needs this is not second-hand research, youll be in the room with users and stakeholders
- Identify product gaps and improvement opportunities through client conversations, support ticket analysis, and usage data
- Synthesise customer feedback into structured insights that inform the product roadmap separate signal from noise and prioritise what matters
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor products, and market dynamics that could affect product direction
Feature development & execution
- Translate business requirements into clear product specifications: PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and wireframes where needed
- Own features from ideation through development, QA, and release work with engineering and design to ensure what ships matches what was intended
- Prioritise the feature backlog based on client impact, business value, and engineering effort make trade-off decisions and communicate the reasoning clearly
- Track feature adoption post-release: is the feature being used? Is it solving the problem it was built for? Close the feedback loop
Rapid prototyping & POCs
- Develop quick prototypes and proof-of-concepts using low-code/no-code tools to validate ideas before committing engineering resources
- Run client demonstrations of proposed solutions to gather early feedback and refine the approach before full development begins
- Use prototyping as a sales enablement tool show prospects whats possible on the platform to support deal conversations
Customisation & client solutions
- Work closely with Customer Success and Implementation teams to address enterprise client customisation requirements determine what should be a custom configuration vs. a platform feature
- Define the boundary between product and services: not every client request should become a feature, and youll need the judgement to know the difference
- Support complex client deployments where product input is needed on workflow design, feature configuration, or technical feasibility
Cross-functional collaboration & sales enablement
- Coordinate with Engineering on sprint planning, technical feasibility, and development timelines youre the bridge between what clients want and whats technically achievable
- Partner with Design to ensure features are intuitive and usable, not just functional
- Support the Sales team with product insights, competitive positioning, demo support, and value proposition articulation for prospective clients
- Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders share product updates, gather feedback, and ensure alignment across teams
What success looks like in your first 60 days
First 30 days

- Review the current product roadmap, feature backlog, and any in-flight development understand whats being built, why, and where things stand
- Sit in on client calls, implementation sessions, and support reviews to understand how enterprise clients use the platform and what they struggle with
- Build working relationships with Engineering, Design, Customer Success, and Sales understand each teams priorities and how they interact with Product
- Identify 23 quick-win product improvements based on your initial observations and present them to the Head of Product
Days 31-60
- Own your first feature or product improvement end-to-end: write the PRD, work with engineering on scoping, and drive it through development
- Conduct your first independent client discovery session gather requirements and translate them into a structured product brief
- Build or refine a prototype using low-code/no-code tools for a feature under consideration
- Start contributing to sprint planning and backlog prioritisation decisions with structured, data-informed recommendations
Must-have skills
- 2+ years of experience in product management within B2B SaaS or enterprise software you’ve shipped features that enterprise clients use
- B.Tech degree from a Tier-1 college, strong technical grounding — you can have productive conversations with developers about architecture, APIs, and feasibility without needing everything translated
- Experience writing structured PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria that engineering teams can execute against without ambiguity
- Hands-on experience engaging with enterprise clients for product discovery — you’ve sat in client meetings, asked the right questions, and turned the answers into product decisions
- Proficiency with low-code/no-code tools for rapid prototyping and proof-of-concept development
- Solid verbal and written communication — you can explain product decisions to engineers, present to clients, and write documentation that’s clear and actionable
- Ability to prioritise ruthlessly — you can say no to feature requests with a clear rationale and manage stakeholder expectations when everything feels urgent
Good-to-have skills
- Experience taking a SaaS product from ideation through to live deployment — not just feature work, but full product lifecycle
- Familiarity with product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, PostHog) for tracking feature adoption and user behaviour
- Experience with both retail (self-serve) and enterprise (sales-led) SaaS product models
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Linear, Notion) for sprint management and backlog tracking
- Exposure to enterprise workflows in legal, compliance, or GRC domains
What you’ll learn in this role
- How to build enterprise SaaS products where the buyer, the user, and the decision-maker are often three different people — a complexity that sharpens your product thinking significantly
- Direct client exposure at scale — you’ll work with 200+ enterprise clients, giving you a volume of product feedback and user insight that’s hard to find elsewhere
- The full product execution loop: discovery, specification, development, release, adoption, and iteration — hands-on, not theoretical
