ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking an Investment Trust Fund Accountant to support accounting and financial reporting activities for Investment Trusts, OEICs, Unit Trusts, UCITS and other regulated fund structures.

The role will focus on NAV production, portfolio accounting, asset pricing, income processing, reconciliations and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Fund Accounting & NAV Production Perform end-to-end accounting activities for regulated investment funds. Prepare and review daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic NAV calculations. Account for: Equities /Fixed Income SecuritiesETFsCollective Investment SchemesDerivatives/Foreign Exchange Transactions Perform custody, cash, and portfolio reconciliations. Ensure accurate pricing and valuation of portfolio assets. Monitor pricing exceptions and valuation discrepancies.

Income & Expense Accounting

Account for dividend income, interest income, and corporate actions. Processing of invoices for treasury payments Review accruals, expenses, and management fee calculations.



Ensure accurate treatment of fund income and distributions.

Financial Reporting

Prepare and review fund financial statements and reporting packs. Prepare reconciliations and supporting schedules. Support audits and regulatory reporting requirements. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of reporting outputs.

Operations & Oversight

Investigate NAV breaks and reconciliation exceptions. Review corporate actions and valuation impacts. Liaise with custodians, brokers, transfer agents, investment managers, and auditors. Support process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

Education & Experience:

Qualified CA / ACCA with minimum 1+ years of relevant Fund Accounting experience

OR

Semi-qualified CA / ACCA, CMA with minimum 2+ years of relevant Fund Accounting experience

Preferred experience in Investment Trust, OEICs, UCITs, Unit Trust, Asset Management & Fund Administration
