Role Description The Assistant Vice President will play a key role in managing and growing a portfolio of credit and financing relationships. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing client financials, supporting credit appraisal and underwriting, monitoring portfolio performance, and preparing reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams such as risk, legal, compliance, and operations to ensure smooth end-to-end execution of transactions.

President will also participate in business development activities, help identify new opportunities, and support strategic initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in corporate finance, credit analysis, and financial statement interpretation.
- Experience in risk assessment, portfolio monitoring, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, internal teams, and external partners.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and comfort with financial modeling and data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation and documentation abilities.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make sound decisions under timelines.
- Proven capability to work in a fast-paced financial services environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Relevant academic background, such as a degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline; professional certifications (e.g., MBA, CA, CFA) are an advantage.
