Role Description The Assistant Professor role at Plastindia International University is a full time, on-site position based in Vapi. The role involves designing and delivering undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses related to polymers, AI, sustainability, and allied fields, using contemporary teaching methods and educational technologies.

Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and assessments, guiding students through project work and research activities, and maintaining high academic standards in the classroom and laboratory.

The Assistant

Professor will also contribute to curriculum development,



participate in academic committees, engage in research and publication, and support institutional initiatives that strengthen industry partnerships and community outreach.

Qualifications

- Advanced academic preparation, preferably a Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Polymer Science, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, AI, Sustainability, or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to teach and mentor students, including skills in curriculum design, classroom instruction, and student evaluation.
- Research aptitude with interest in publishing in peer-reviewed journals, collaborating on projects, and contributing to the university’s research profile.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and industry partners.
- Experience or interest in integrating technology into teaching, such as learning management systems, digital content, and modern lab equipment.
- Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered education and sensitivity to diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
- Prior teaching or industry experience in plastics, polymers, AI, or sustainability is highly beneficial.
