Key Responsibilities

1) Academic

- Deliver lectures as per the assigned workload.
- Assist in curriculum development alongside Associate Professors, Professors, and the Head of School (HOS).
- Actively participate in academic duties, including examinations.
- Conduct practical sessions and tutorials as scheduled.
- Prepare and set question papers.
- Organize and contribute to seminars, conferences, workshops, and faculty development programs (FDPs).
- Provide insights on industry-relevant skills and assist in skill development initiatives.
- Arrange training programs to enhance students' soft skills.
- Organize study tours for industry exposure.

2) Research & Development

- Demonstrate proficiency in research activities.
- Author and publish research papers nationally and internationally.
- Co-author research proposals and act as a co-investigator.
- Encourage student participation in research and academic writing.

3) Strategic Contributions

- Support the execution of the school's strategic plan.

4) Operational Responsibilities

- Engage in student-related activities, including NCC, student welfare, ASG, cultural and technical events, and student mentorship.
- Assist in student admissions and counseling.
- Guide students in academic and extracurricular projects.
- Supervise examinations and participate in convocation ceremonies.
- Accompany students on rural immersion programs, study tours, internships,



and international exchanges.
- Evaluate student answer sheets and provide feedback for improvement.
- Address student concerns and maintain student records.

5) Finance & Budget

- Adhere to budgetary guidelines set by Professors, HOS, and the Dean.

6) Collaborations

- Participate in events like the National Teachers Congress, Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad, and the National Women’s Parliament.
- Foster industry collaborations for student placements and alumni engagement.
- Work with CIAP and Marketing teams to facilitate student admissions and career opportunities.

Person Specification

Qualifications & Experience

- Preferred: Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum Requirement: Master's degree with 55% marks (or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Preferred Certifications: NET, SET, or SLET (UGC-recognized).
- Candidates with a Master’s degree and substantial industry experience (0-5 years) may also be considered.
