Assistant Manager – Warehouse Operations

Department: Warehouse / 3PL Operations Experience: 5–10 Years Qualification: Graduate / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain or Operations Location: As per business requirement Reporting To: Operations Manager / Regional Operations Head

Job Purpose

Responsible for managing end-to-end warehouse operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, productivity, SLA compliance, safety, client satisfaction and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage Inbound, Put-away, Storage, Picking, Packing, Dispatch and Returns.

· Ensure smooth daily operations as per SOP, client requirements and SLA.

· Maintain SAP/WMS vs Physical inventory accuracy and conduct cycle counts/audits.

· Plan and effectively utilize manpower, space and equipment.

· Monitor productivity, attendance, overtime and operational costs.

· Handle client communication, escalations and timely issue closure.

· Ensure proper 5S, housekeeping, safety, fire compliance and statutory requirements.

· Coordinate with transporters, vendors and internal teams for smooth operations.





· Prepare and monitor daily/weekly/monthly MIS and operational KPIs.

· Drive RCA, CAPA, Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Control damages, shortages, inventory variances and operational backlogs.

· Lead and develop warehouse supervisors and operational teams.
