Role & responsibilities

- Design and development of internal, inter-plant, and returnable packaging such as bins, boxes, trolleys, and racks.

- Estimation of logistics, transportation, packaging, and sequencing costs for current RFIs and RFQs.

- Preparation and release of RFQs for packaging and logistics development activities.

- Calculation of logistics requirements, storage norms, and turnaround time (TAT).

- Development and implementation of customized storage solutions, including ASRS.

- Define, analyze, and optimize material flow and part storage layouts.

- Ensure packaging designs comply with ergonomics, safety norms, and customer standards.

- Preparation of logistics sign-off documents as per customer requirements.

- Coordination with suppliers, fabrication vendors, and cross-functional teams.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong knowledge of automotive packaging and logistics development

- Understanding of ergonomics, fabrication processes, and storage systems

- Proficiency in CAD tools and MS Office

- Good analytical, communication, and stakeholder coordination
