Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager – Hospitality & Guest Experience to lead hospitality operations in a healthcare and wellness setting.

The role will be responsible for managing multiple support functions, developing teams, implementing service standards and ensuring a consistent experience for patients and guests.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead housekeeping, linen and laundry operations.
- Oversee food and beverage and kitchen operations.
- Coordinate engineering, maintenance and facility services.
- Manage guest relations and patient experience.
- Maintain gardens, grounds and overall ambience.
- Develop and implement SOPs and service standards.
- Conduct training, audits and service-quality reviews.
- Manage vendors, budgets and operating costs.
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, Purchase, Nursing, Quality and Clinical teams.
- Support hygiene, safety, infection-control and facility-management requirements.

Requirements
- Degree or three-year diploma in Hotel Management, or equivalent professional experience.
- 10–15 years of hospitality operations experience.
- Minimum 4 years of multi-department leadership experience.




- Experience managing at least two functions such as Housekeeping, Food & Beverage/Kitchen, or Engineering & Maintenance.
- Strong experience in team building and service-standard implementation.
- Experience with SOP development, training and operational audits.
- Budget, vendor and cost-management experience.
- Good English communication and working knowledge of Tamil.
- Willingness to work in Madurai and support operational requirements, including rotational shifts, weekends and on-call duties when required.

- Ayurveda or wellness resorts
- Healthcare hospitality
- Premium hotels and resorts
- Spa or destination wellness properties
- Hospital guest services
- Long-stay hospitality operations

Exposure to NABH, FSSAI, HACCP, infection-control processes or facility-management systems will be an advantage.
