Job Purpose To lead and manage the complete HR function with primary responsibility for HR operations, statutory compliance, attendance and time-office management, payroll coordination, employee relations, manpower planning, recruitment, performance management, and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
The incumbent will ensure effective manpower utilization, employee discipline, statutory compliance, accurate attendance and payroll inputs, and a positive employee work environment.
Key Responsibilities1. HR Operations
- Manage day-to-day HR operations and ensure smooth functioning of the HR department.
- Implement and monitor company HR policies, procedures, and systems.
- Maintain employee records, personnel files, appointment documentation, and HR databases.
- Ensure timely completion of joining, confirmation, transfer, promotion, and separation formalities.
- Prepare and present HR MIS and dashboards to management.
2. Attendance & Time Office
- Overall responsibility for employee attendance and time-office administration.
- Monitor daily attendance, absenteeism, late coming, early leaving, overtime, and unauthorized absence.
- Manage biometric/attendance systems and ensure accuracy of attendance data.
- Coordinate with department heads for attendance regularization and leave approvals.
- Monitor shift rosters and manpower deployment.
- Review and verify monthly attendance before submission for payroll processing.
- Monitor overtime and ensure proper authorization.
- Prepare monthly attendance, absenteeism, overtime, and manpower reports.
- Ensure proper implementation of leave and attendance policies.
3. Statutory & Labour Law Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Monitor timely compliance relating to PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, Payment of Wages, TDS, and other applicable regulations.
- Ensure maintenance of statutory registers, records, notices, and returns.
- Coordinate with statutory consultants, auditors, labour authorities, and other external agencies.
- Maintain a compliance calendar and ensure timely filing/payment of statutory obligations.
- Conduct periodic internal compliance audits and ensure closure of observations.
- Ensure compliance relating to contract labour and manpower agencies,
wherever applicable.
- Keep management updated regarding changes in applicable labour laws and regulations.
4. Payroll Coordination
- Verify monthly attendance, leave, overtime, incentives, deductions, and other payroll inputs.
- Coordinate with Finance/Payroll for timely and accurate salary processing.
- Review payroll-related discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure statutory deductions and contributions are accurately processed.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee compensation and payroll information.
5. Recruitment & Manpower Planning
- Prepare manpower requirements in consultation with department heads.
- Lead recruitment for managerial, supervisory, and critical positions.
- Ensure timely hiring against approved manpower budgets.
- Develop recruitment sources and maintain talent pipelines.
- Monitor recruitment cost, turnaround time, and quality of hiring.
6. Employee Relations & Discipline
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Ensure proper implementation of company rules and disciplinary procedures.
- Conduct counselling and employee discussions wherever required.
- Maintain healthy employee-management relations.
- Support management in resolving employee-related issues fairly and promptly.
7. Performance Management
- Coordinate annual performance appraisal and goal-setting processes.
- Ensure timely completion of KRAs/KPIs and performance reviews.
- Identify training and development requirements.
- Support succession planning and employee career development.
8. Training & Development
- Identify training needs in consultation with functional heads.
- Prepare and monitor the annual training calendar.
- Coordinate internal and external training programs.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and maintain training records.
9. Employee Engagement & Welfare
- Drive employee engagement and welfare initiatives.
- Organize employee communication and engagement activities.
- Ensure proper implementation of employee welfare facilities.
- Monitor employee satisfaction and address concerns appropriately.
10. Exit & Full & Final Settlement
- Manage resignation, exit interview, clearance, and relieving processes.
- Coordinate full and final settlement with Finance.
- Analyse attrition trends and provide reports to management.
- Identify reasons for employee turnover and recommend corrective actions.

Required Skills & Competencies

Education & Experience
Qualification: MBA/PGDM in HR / Personnel Management / Labour Welfare or equivalent.
Experience: 15-20 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with substantial experience in HR operations, statutory compliance, attendance/time office, payroll, and employee relations.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
