Job Overview

We are looking for a compassionate, responsible, and patient-focused Assistant Doctor to support the treating consultants and ensure smooth clinical and administrative coordination at our centre. The Assistant Doctor will be responsible for patient assessment, documentation, coordination with consultants, explaining treatment procedures, addressing patient queries, and supporting overall patient care and centre operations.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build a comfortable and trustworthy relationship with patients and couples.

Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Assessment & Clinical Documentation

- Conduct patient history taking and maintain accurate and complete medical documentation.
- Assess and record patient vitals and relevant clinical observations.
- Discuss the patient's history, examination findings, and relevant reports with the treating consultant to assist in formulation of an appropriate care plan.
- Transcribe medication, investigation, treatment,



and other orders given by the treating consultant into the patient's medical record.
- Ensure all patient records are updated accurately and maintained as per centre protocols.

Patient Communication & Coordination
- Act as a liaison between patients, treating consultants, and administrative staff for patient-related queries and coordination.
- Clarify patients' and families' queries regarding treatment, procedures, investigations, reports, and hospital/centre processes, within the scope of the role.
- Explain prescribed medicines to patients as directed by the Senior/Treating Consultant, including relevant instructions for use.
- Explain procedure cost to patients.
- Work with Insurance companies
- Address patient queries professionally and ensure unresolved clinical queries are appropriately escalated to the treating consultant.
- Maintain a compassionate and reassuring approach while interacting with patients and couples.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
